The Turnbull & Son team had an enjoyable few days working at a Bilsthorpe Primary school carrying out works from a Tree health survey. A tree survey is the recognised way of obtaining objective information about trees on any parcel of land. A range of data is collected during a tree survey including the number, species, age and location of trees. Honey fungus eats the tree from the inside out causing the tree to become hollow and therefore dangerous and likely to fail. Thankfully this School has regular tree surveys and we were able to rectify this problem.
