Emergency Callout - Southwell Ash Fallen Limb This large ash tree on a small patch of land used by local children for play and adjacent to two schools had an enormous limb failure, which closed two footpaths and crashed through a neighbouring garden. Our operators were on site within the hour, to make the fallen limb safe and remove the obstruction. Upon closer inspection, the severity of the tree’s decline became apparent; we liaised with the parish council and local tree officer to arrange immediate takedown so the footpaths could be reopened. The main stem was made safe and left for habitat, with remaining timber logged up and left on site for the town council to offer to residents.
